Dublin officials seek change of venue for Tipp clash

Dublin county board are not happy that their round 2 All Ireland qualifier with Tipperary has been fixed for Thurles this Saturday.

County board Chairman Sean Shanley told the Irish Daily Mail that it’s a terrible decision and it amounts to an insult to Dublin hurling.

It’s understood Dublin have contacted the Central Competition Control Committee for a review of the decision.

However Tipp FM analyst Ken Hogan says the Dublin players and management team will have no fears about facing the Premier County in Semple.

Tipp and Dublin throw-in at 5 o’clock in Semple Stadium on Saturday evening and the game will be live here on Tipp FM.

That will be followed at 7 by the clash of Kilkenny and Waterford.
