Tipperary have been dealt an injury blow in the build-up to this weekends National Hurling League semi-final.

Corner-back Donagh Maher has been sidelined for the game against Wexford and is also said to be a doubt for the Munster Championship quarter-final against Cork.

The Irish Examiner reports the Burgess clubman picked up a hamstring injury during training this week.

Tipp are the only Division 1A side in the last four of the League – however Borrisoleigh’s Dan McCormack says they won’t underestimate Wexford.

He says Davy Fitzgerald’s charges will prove tough opponents.

Tipp FM will have live coverage of Sunday’s game in association with the Donal Ryan Motor Group – Nenagh, Thurles & Roscrea and Arrabawn Store, Tyone, Nenagh.
