It’s disappointment for Our Lady’s Templemore who’ve missed out on a spot in the final of this year’s Harty Cup.
Our Lady’s Templemore opened the scoring, with a point inside the first minute, but Middleton shot a point followed quickly by a goal in the next 60 seconds – and they pushed to a big lead.
Templemore, however, went through their purple patch in the second quarter – where they fought back to go in just 2 points down at half time -Midleton CBS : 2-8(14) Our Lady’s Templemore: 0-12(12)
The second half saw Middleton pull away again – with Middleton more than doubling Our Lady’s score – it finished up there 2-27 (33) to 16 points.
Middleton will face Ard Scoil Ris in the final.
