Clonoulty Rossmore have been crowned West Senior Hurling Champions for 2017.
The first half was a tightly contested affair, with Eire Og leading by a point at the break – 7 points to 6.
It continued point for point in the second half, with no team able to take a commanding lead until the 31st minute when Clonoulty Rossmore scored an all important goal to put some daylight between the sides.
They pushed on with a couple of more points from play to finish strongly – 1-14 to 1-9.
