Upperchurch and Loughmore do battle in Mid Football Final

Reigning county champions Loughmore Castleiney do battle with Upperchurch Drombane in the Mid Senior Football Final this evening.

It’s Upperchurch’s second mid final in as many weeks – they were defeated by Thurles Sarsfields in the hurling decider last weekend.

Mid Tipp Chair Joe Kennedy says Upperchurch were unlucky against the Sars, but will relish the challenge against Loughmore.

The game gets underway in Littleton at half 5 this evening.

Staying with the Mid division, and Holycross and Moycarkey Borris do battle in the minor hurling final at 3 in Templemore.

While the minor final in the South will be contested by St Mary’s and Moyle Rovers in Cahir at 5.30 this evening.
