The Tipp footballers will play Waterford in the Munster Quarter Final next year with the winners taking on Cork in the last four.
Philip Austin has welcomed Stephen O’Brien back into the Premier County’s football panel.
O’Brien had been with the hurlers but Austin says he’s an important addition to the footballers for 2018 ahead of tough Division 2 and Championship campaigns.
