Clonmel Commercials have been crowned County Senior football champions for the 17th time.
Killenaule took command of the game early in the first half, chipping over four unanswered points.
However, it wan’t long before Clonmel got into their stride, and held Killenaule scoreless for the rest of the half, running in 7 points to 4 up at half time.
Killenaule again started the second half better, but a Richie Gunne Goal 23 minutes into the second half for Commercials proved to be the decisive score, pushing them four points ahead.
They powered through, and a goal for Jamie Peters in the last minute of normal time put some real daylight between the sides.
The game finished up: 2-09 to 8 points.
