There was plenty of action in Round 2 of the County Senior Football Championship yesterday where Ballyporeen registered a 5 point victory in the opening game of the day hitting 1-13 to Kiladangan’s 2-5.
In an all West tussle Arravale Rovers defeated Galtee Rovers 1-22 to 0-4 in a one sided encounter.
County champions Clonmel Commercials were a point down at the break against Aherlow Gaels but pulled away in the second half to win 0-14 to 0-7.
Finally in New Inn yesterday evening Ardfinnan defeated Eire Óg Annacarthy in a close hard fought encounter on a scoreline of 1-11 to 0-12.
