Tipperary got their National league campaign underway with a narrow defeat to Cork.
The Premier ladies led by a point at half time at the Ragg but ultimately had to give best to the All Ireland champions.

In Group 1 it ended Kilkenny 1-9 Clare 7 points and Limerick 1-12 Offaly 13 points.
