There’s a busy time ahead for Tipperary’s underage hurling and football teams.

The Munster competitions have been revamped for next year.

The Minor are now under 17 rather than under 18 and in hurling teams will play before their senior counterparts games in the Munster championship.

The format for Minor football hasn’t been decided yet while the Under 20 football and Under 21 hurling Munster championships will both now take place during the summer months.

Incoming Tipperary county chairperson John Devane says there are busy times ahead for Tipperary teams.
