GAA county clubs face high volume of matches

As the Tipperary senior and intermediate championship reaches the knockout stages some clubs must now play a high volume of games in a short space of time in hurling and football.

A number of weekends for club sides in the premier were lost in April as the Tipp hurlers were involved in the closing stages of the national hurling league which ran into the designated club month due to weather conditions.

Tipperary county board aim to have all their championships completed this Autumn in time for the Munster club championships.

With another busy weekend of club action Tipperary development officer PJ Maher says having plans together early in the year is vitally important.
