Fixtures revealed for new Pro 12 season

The dates, times and venues for the opening 13 rounds of the season have been finalised, as the new-look tournament prepares to unveil a new format, a new sponsorship with Guinness and a new broadcast deal with Sky Sports.

Munster will be in action on the opening night of the new season, when Anthony Foley's side host Edinburgh at Thomond Park on Friday, September 5th.

Leinster, Ulster and Connacht will all be in action on September 6th, with Leinster and Ulster both set to feature as part of a Sky Sports double-header.

Ulster will travel to face the Scarlets, while Leinster will start their title defence against the Glasgow Warriors in a repeat of last season's Grand Final.

Connacht's opening game will see the Dragons visit the Sportsground.

The first Pro-12 derby between Leinster and Munster will be on Saturday, October 4th at the Aviva Stadium, while the traditional St Stephen's Day clash between the pair will be at Thomond Park at 5pm.
