Carrick on Suir’s Sam Bennett has taken his first win in the Irish National Champions jersey.
The Bora Hansgrohe rider took the 167 kilometre opening stage of the Binck Bank Tour in Belgium.
His victory also earned him the leader’s jersey heading into stage 2.
