Europe's top clubs are pushing FIFA to play the Qatar 2022 World Cup in April and May.
The world governing body and UEFA, the head of the European game, are looking at winter dates.
But the European Club Association's chairman Karl-Heinz says players could cope with temperatures which would peak at 35 degrees in the spring.
