Double header for Tipp’s hurlers and camogie players in Thurles

An intense and workman-like display is what can be expected from Tipp’s hurlers this evening.

Following two below par performances against Cork in the Munster championship, and Galway in the League Final, Tipp will need a good start against Westmeath this afternoon.

They travel to Semple Stadium to face the Premier in the first round of the qualifiers this evening.

Throw-in is at 5 o clock, and Tipp FM’s live coverage of the game comes in association with Mulcahy Car Sales Ardcroney, Nenagh and Spar Express, Maxol Filling Station, Turtulla Thurles.

Meanwhile, Tipp supporters are being reminded to head to Semple Stadium early today, to watch the camogie team in action.

Tipp play Limerick in the second game in Group 2 of the All Ireland Championship.

With a tough group, and the teams neck and neck, their manager Brian Boyle says they’re up for the challenge.

He says he’s hoping the crowd will swing the match in their favour.
