Disappointment for Tipp Under 21 footballers in Munster final.

Tipperary have failed to topple Cork as Munster Under 21 football champions.

They lost out on a scoreline of 1-18 to 3-8 in Pairc Ui Rinn last evening.

Sean Kiely's crucial second-half goal helped to finally kill-off the Tipperary challenge as the Rebels advanced to an All-Ireland semi-final show-down against Roscommon.

Tonight the Tipperary Minor Hurlers are in Munster action – they take on Limerick in the opening round of the provincial championship.

Liam Cahill's side will go to the Gaelic Grounds, hoping for a reversal of last year's semi-final, when the Treaty County came to Thurles and won by three points.

Throw-in is at 7 and we'll have regular live updates from the game here on Tipp FM.
