Kanturk trainer Mick Winters will fancy his chances of success in the Nire Valley Mares Handicap in the 7.25 at Clonmel this evening. He sends out Silver Chief in the hands of jockey Jody McGarvey.
Elsewhere on the card, plenty of eyes will be on the Robert Tyner-trained Carrigmoorna Rock in the opening Girls Night Out At Clonmel Mares Maiden Hurdle following her fine effort when second in a bumper at the Punchestown festival.
