Celtic enjoy 27-point lead in Scottish Premiership

Champions Celtic enjoy a 27-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership today – after humiliating Old Firm foes Rangers 5-1 at Ibrox.

It’s the Parkhead club’s biggest away win against their rivals in 120 years.

Aberdeen couldn’t take advantage to extend their second-placed gap over Rangers – as they lost 2-nil at home to St Johnstone.

Elsewhere, Neil McCann’s first game in charge of Dundee saw a 3-2 win at Motherwell – which moves them out of the relegation play-off spot.

Kilmarnock won 2-nil at Hamilton, and Hearts against Partick ended 2-2.
