Carrick on Suirs Sam Bennett will go into this weekends Paris Roubaix in confident mood following an excellent showing in Belgiums oldest classic yesterday.
A six man breakaway group was caught within the last 3 kilometers with Marcel Kittel of the Giant Shimano team winning the 200 kilometre race for the third year in a row.
23 year old Bennett has already won the Classica de Almeria in Spain earlier this year and will go into next weekends Paris Roubaix with renewed confidence following today's 5th place in the bunch sprint in the 102nd running of the Scheldeprijs.
