Tipp Today – Wednesday January 17th 2018

This mornings Tipp Today came live from Nenagh, we had blogger and broadcaster Helen England in studio for our Wednesday focus. We spoke to Minister Pat Breen about the funding which has just been announced for the Shannon Crossing project in Ballina – Killaloe and we had our review of the local papers with show producer Trudy Waters.

In the second part of this mornings Tipp Today – We had our regular physio therapy spot with Paddy O’Brien who was answering listeners questions. We also spoke to Michael O’Doherty from Plexus Bio who will be taking part in the Tipp FM Health and Wellbeing Expo at the end of the month. We spoke to Michael Kelly from GIY about a new initiative where schools will grow their own fruit and vegetables.

In the final hour of Tipp Today we spoke to Stephen O’Meara and Kate O’Brien from Nenagh college who will be live streaming their open night for the first time. We also spoke to Rosanna Purcell, the Tipp playwright and actress’ latest work is coming to The Source this weekend and we were delighted to be joined live in studio by beloved comedian Jon Kenny!
