Tipp Today – Wednesday 31st January 2018

In the first hour of this mornings Tipp Today we spoke to businesswoman, broadcaster and blogger Helen England about safety on dates and the ‘Ask for Angela’ code-word campaign. We also spoke to the Deputy Principal at Borrisokane Community College Suzanne McMahon about their upcoming trip to Brussels this week for a special conference on increasing students’ use of digital technology in their day to day learning.

In the second hour of this mornings Tipp Today we spoke to Ciana Campbell about upcoming event “Speaking of Dreams” taking place at the Belltable in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. We then spoke to a listener about his opinion on the comments made by Tipperary Councillor who believes that householders should all have firearms in the home in the event of an intruder. We also spoke to County Board Secretary Tim Floyd about the closure of the sports shop at Lar Na Pairc in Thurles

In the final hour of this mornings Tipp Today we spoke to Transition Year Student Manus Heenan about his new business venture. We were joined by Psychotherapist Joannes Berkery. We then spoke to Liam Morris from Dualla about the fundraising efforts underway for a new Order of Malta ambulance.
