We all know that sleep is very important for us… but a lot of us are guilty of cutting corners here and there when it comes to getting a proper night’s rest.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that a couple of coffees can make up for a couple of hours less in bed – but the side effects can actually be longer lasting than that.

So why is sleep so important, what happens to us if we miss it and what common bed time faux pas’s are we making?
