It’s another packed show this evening, as we look ahead to this weekend’s County hurling finals, through the eyes of Toomevara player Ken Dunne.
On Sunday at Semple Stadium, Toomevara legend Ken Dunne will line out for his club in the Seamus O’Riain hurling final against Roscrea.
It could be a memorable weekend for Ken, who’s 40 next Monday, but his life was turned upside down last April when he suffered a seizure while on a family trip to Fota.
He was rushed to Cork University Hospital, and underwent surgery to remove a lump from his brain.
Five weeks later, he was back in light training with Toomevara and in a revealing interview, he outlines the frightening details of what happened at Easter.
