It’s Brain Awareness Week with local events taking place across the country.
The campaign is being led by Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Ireland to support improved rehabilitation services for those affected and their families.
13,000 people acquire brain injury each year in Ireland and it is often described as a hidden disease.
