A status yellow weather warning for Tipperary came into effect overnight.
Extremely heavy rain is forecast over the next few days, with up to 50mm of rain expected.
There is also a risk of spot flooding in places.
The warning remains in place until midday tomorrow and also extends to Kilkenny, Cork, Waterford and Wexford.
