Leo Varadkar is expected to unveil what’s been called a ‘Brexit cabinet’ when he is officially elected Taoiseach this week.
The Sunday Independent reports that his rival for the Fine Gael leadership – Simon Coveney – will look to get the Foreign Affairs portfolio so he can lead the charge on Brexit.
Meanwhile Fianna Fáil’s Barry Cowen says he hopes Mr Varadkar will do a good job in leading the country.
