There will be three new commuter bus routes in Tipperary this summer.

The new services – Roscrea Town and Suburbs Area Loop, Tipp Town to Cashel and Ballingarry to Thurles are expected to be up and running in the next two months.

The Tipperary Transport Coordination Unit got approval for the extra routes and routes and Manager Anthony Moroney has been telling Tipp FM’s Domhnall Doyle all about them.

Deputy Alan Kelly has described it as”very welcome news adding when he was Minister of State in the Department of Transport, he set up the Tipperary Transport Co-ordination Unit which has resulted in these three new services. “The documents for these services have been sent to tender, with the hope that the services will be up and running before the end of the summer”.
