New car sales in Tipperary are down considerably in the first ten months of the year.
According to the Society of the Irish Motor Industry 3,458 new cars have been registered in the Premier County since January.
This is down almost 14% on the same period last year – at this time last year there were 4,123 new T reg cars.
Nationally sales are also down but not to the same extent as Tipp with a total of 130,500 since January which is a fall of just over 10%.
