Track Attack in Borrisoleigh enjoying Presidential Run challenge

Huge numbers gathered in Borrisoleigh last night for the start of the “Presidential Run.”

It sees members of “Borrisoleigh Track attack” jog, cycle or swim to the ancestral homes of three American Presidents.

From Borrisoleigh Park at 9pm last night a relay group made their way to Ballycahill, on through Cashel to Rockwell College and on to Ballyporeen.

From there a group cycled through the Vee this morning and on to Dungarvan where they head for the river Barrow.

Part of the relay group will then swim from Passage across to Ballyhack in County Wexford where more participants will continue on to New Ross with others taking different stages along the way.

The relay will then make its way back to Borrisoleigh via Kilkenny and Moneygall, and are expected back in Borrisoleigh at 8.30pm on Saturday night.

Pat Keane of “Track Attack” says it’s a marathon effort and they are enjoying the challenge…

The funds raised from the event will go towards the Autistic Unit of Scoil Naomh Cualan in Borrisoleigh and Teach Saoise in Nenagh.
