The increase in the hospitality VAT rate will lead to job losses in Tipperary.
That’s according to a north Tipp hotel manager who says the only cutbacks that can be made are in staffing levels.
Daniel McCarthy is General Manager of Racket Hall Country House Hotel in Roscrea.
He says the 4.5% increase in VAT will also impact on refurbishment works which have been ongoing at the hotel.
