Councillor Roger Kennedy has called out the President of Ireland for not appearing at commemoration services at Solohead Beg in January.
The Leas Cathaoirleach for Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municpal District said tourism should be top of the agenda in planning for the county.
Speaking after the AGM Councillor Kennedy said more needs to be done to promote the local history of the area.
