Over 530 JobBridge placements have commenced in Tipperary since the scheme started in July 2011.
According to local Fine Gael TD Tom Hayes the internship programme is a clear and dependable pathway to full time employment.
It Tipperary follows the national trend then 203 of the 333 people that have completed their internships in the county should have found full time employment within five months.
At present there are 199 internships ongoing in County Tipperary
Deputy Hayes is encouraging those interested to investigate the possibility of undertaking a JobBridge internship as a proven way to get back to work.
