An independent Tipperary T.D. is strongly critical of a new directive from the Department of Social Protection.
This directive is aimed at Community Employment supervisors and participants.
They have been warned that they can't work voluntarily for any other project in a management position.
Deputy Mattie McGrath claims this is an appalling intrusion into the constitutional rights of any citizen to volunteer their services for the benefit of their communities.
He's calling on Minister Joan Burton to bin this Directive immediately.
