Tipperary resident remanded in custody in connection with aggravated burglary


A 27-year old man  with an address in County Tipperary has appeared in court, charged in connection with an aggravated burglary at the home of three elderly siblings.

At Limerick District Court, William Gammell, with an address at An Cuirt, Monard, was charged with burglary, and with being in possession of a stolen jeep.

74-year old Willie Creed, and his sisters Nora, aged 72, and Chrissie, aged 66, were in their house at the time at Ballyluddy, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick, on May 31st.

William Gammell was also charged with aiding and abbetting parties involved in an aggravated burglary at Sunville House, Pallasgreen on April 16th.

He was remanded in custody to appear in court again on June 19th.
