Tipperary company secures major Middle East contract

 

A Tipperary company is set to create 200 new jobs after securing  a contract to build Saudi Arabia's biggest petro chemicals plant.

Clonmel-based Sepam is seeking to hire staff in a number of areas including engineering and administration. 

Located in Irishtown the Sepam Group is an international Engineering, Procurement, Management & Construction Company, established in 1976 and operating in the USA, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Former Soviet Union.

It's currently working on sites ranging from Heathrow Airport and the Mayo Clinic in the US to infrastructure in Doha Qatar ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

According to reports today This new contract in Saudi Arabia which will see the creation of 200 jobs is set to be the largest single phased petrochemical development in the world.

The new positions are being created in engineering, construction, HR , finance and marketing with recruitment already underway.
