Tipperary businessman seeks bankruptcy in the UK


NAMA is seeking judgement orders against a Tipperary businessman for over €5.5 million.

John Fraher, with an address in Buckinghamshire in England but previously from Clonmel,  is alleged to have defaulted on loans taken out with the AIB.

He is seeking to be declared bankrupt in the UK.

Mr Justice Peter Kelly yesterday agreed to fast-track the summary judgement application to the Commercial Court.
