The removal of Tipperary’s Garda Divisional HQ has been described as devastating for rural communities across the Premier.
Under Commissioner Drew Harris new policing model the county will amalgamate with Clare and Ennis will be the main station for both.
It also means Tipperary is losing its recently appointed Chief Superintendent.
