Tipperary dog owners urged to clean up their act

Some dog owners in the county are still not getting the message that they need to clean up after their pet.

The issue of dog fouling on footpaths, in playgrounds and other public areas is still a major problem.

Councillor Siobhán Ambrose says not all dog owners are being responsible.

Tipperary County Council carried out a pilot project in Cashel early last year which included stencil drawings on the footpath as well as morning and evening patrols by the litter warden.
