Tipperary businesses have begun preparations for Brexit

300 firms are actively working with the County Council to build resilience to deal with any outcome of Brexit and counteract the possible negative impacts.

Councillor Michael Murphy opened discussions on the matter at this month’s meeting of Tipperary County Council where he called for a multi-agency approach in assisting SMEs make provisions.

The local authority welcomed the motion with Council CEO Joe McGrath saying businesses need to come to terms with the likely effects of Brexit.
