Tipp march on to Munster Semi Final

Turning to club action now and defending champions Kiladangan beat Toomevara 2-18 to 1-17 in the First Round of the Hibernian Inn North Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship.

In the other match in the competition played yesterday Burgess defeated Moneygall 4-24 to 1-13.

There was also action in the Centenary Agri Mid Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship.

Moycarkey-Borris overcame JK Brackens 4-20 to 0-16 in the clubs' quarter-final clash.
