Tipp Gov TDs urged to take action to create jobs

The criticism follows figures from the Central Statistics Office which show that over 11 hundred people across the Premier County lost their jobs or had their hours cut in the last four months.

Currently across the Premier County there are over 14 thousand 700 or so people seeking some form of employment benefit, the highest it's been in 10 months and a rise of over 250 in the month of July.

John O'Shaughnessy, president of the Thurles Chamber of Commerce says jobs are not being created in the regional areas like Tipperary and this needs to be addressed by the Government.
