Tipp and Clare to Fight it out for Final Place

Tipperary Manager Eamon O' Shea has made five changes to the side that beat Cork in the quarter-finals for today's showdown, while Donal Tuohy, Jack Browne, Colm Galvin, Cathal McInerney and Podge Collins all start for the All-Ireland champions.

There was criticism of the Premier County during their run of three straight league defeats earlier in the campaign.

One of those came at home to Clare, when Davy Fitzgerald's side scored 4 goals.

But, while Tipperary's Shane McGrath admits that their league form has been patchy so far- he feels that they're heading in the right direction

Throw-in for Tipperary v Clare at the Gaelic Grounds is at 4 o' clock.

That game is the second part of a double header at the Gaelic Grounds; at 2:00 league champions Kilkenny face Galway.

Cats boss Brian Cody has made five changes to his side, with Brian Hogan, Michael Fennelly and Henry Shefflin among those starting.

Joe Canning has been named on the bench for Galway, despite overcoming injury to make a substitute appearance in the quarter final defeat of Limerick.
