A bypass for Tipp Town is still a long way from happening but the prospect of alleviating traffic in the area has seen progress.
A potential ring road around the town is currently being examined by council officials.
Speaking at this month’s County Council meeting Councillor Michael Fitzgerald said the heavy traffic prevents improvement in the town.
