Tipp mother calls for GP’s to be trained in treating children with special needs

A Tipperary mother is calling for GPs to have ongoing training when treating children with special needs.

Linda’s 4-year-old son Noah has been diagnosed with autism and global developmental delay – meaning he isn’t comfortable with people he doesn’t know being in his personal space.

She recently noticed a rash on Noah’s body – but when she took him to the doctor he got stressed when the doctor tried to examine him.
