The stretch of road from Liberty Square to the Golf Course is badly in need of upgrade works – with motorists and cyclists alike complaining about the poor condition of the road.
Because it's on the N62 national primary route the stretch of road is not the responsbility of Tipperary County Council.
Local Fianna Fail Councillor Jackie Cahill says the County Council should put more pressure on the NRA to take action.
