Thurles Hospital situation to be highlighted in Leinster House


The loss of beds at the Hospital of the Assumption in Thurles is to be raised in Leinster House today.

Members of the Hospital Action Committee will meet with leaders of the Opposition while a petition containing over 8,500 signatures collected in the Thurles area in recent weeks will be presented to the Taoiseach.

Meetings will be held with Sinn Fein's Gerry Adams and Fianna Fail's Michaél Martin.
