There's some good news for truck drivers and some farm vehicles using the Thurles – Littleton road.
A 3 tonne weight restriction has been in place at Archerstown Bridge since last year due to safety concerns.
This has led to significant problems for some road users who have had to use alternative routes.
However according to local Councillor Jim Ryan some progress is being made with the works now going to tender.
