The number of patients on trolleys at South Tipp General has dropped considerably.

 


The number of patients on trolleys awaiting a bed at South Tipperary General Hospital is down to more manageable levels today.

Having reached 27 at one point earlier this week, today there are 5 patients on trolleys at the Clonmel hospital.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation Beaumount in Dublin and Cork University Hospital are the worst hit today with 29 and 27 patients respectively.

The Mid Western Regional in Limerick is reporting 13 patients on trolleys while there are 5 at Waterford Regional Hospital.
