Talks for NI power sharing executive take place today

Talks aimed at forming a power sharing executive in Northern Ireland will take place in London today.

There’s less than two weeks left for parties to get the institutions back up and running.

DUP Leader, Arlene Foster, returned to Northern Ireland last night, after meeting with the British Prime Minister, Theresa May.

May says she’s “continuing to have talks” with Northern Ireland’s DUP about a possible alliance.

A deal was expected yesterday, but the British Prime Minister says the focus has been on the fire in London.

Democratic Unionist leader Arlene Foster has returned to Belfast – while her colleagues continue discussions with Tories to form a government.
