‘Supercharging station’ plan has to be resubmitted

Electric car giant Tesla Motors lodged an application to the local authority for the development as part of the Applegreen Service Station at Birdhill off the M7 Dublin – Limerick motorway.

The proposal was for four superchargers, eight chargeposts and an electric substation.

However the application has been deemed incomplete by Tipperary County Council.

Tesla Motors is an American car maker – earlier this year they announced plans to market their vehicles here with supercharging stations also planed for Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Belfast.
